**Tree of Eternity**

After the 3-month elective, plus the 2-week holiday, tomorrow I'm going back to Dunedin Public Hospital.

Sigh...feel so tired and not enough rest. O well...the holiday is never long enough.

But I haven't touched any medical book for such a long time, I feel like I'll be trouble and have difficulty catching up.

Who cares...it's just a psych run. However, on top of that, I still have my elective reports to write (both for Dunedin medical school and for my bosses in Taiwan).

To celebrate this event (i mean going back to "school"), I bought a goose down duvet for myself (80% down 20% feather). It's so light and warm compared to my previous 3 blankets (oh yea...I needed 3 blankets, and every time when I wanna turn around in bed, it's such an effort to lift all the weight).

OK...Good night sleep and Gambatte tomorrow. 

經過了8小時多的飛機，我終於又踏上NZ這片土地. Christchurh 9am 的溫度只有3度攝氏...和台灣以及馬來西亞的30度有天壤之別 = =

在飛機上當然是乘機享受新航的服務啦...晚餐和早餐都super nice, movies 也看了4部，特別是Iron Man + Kung Fu Panda =)

不過一下飛機就遇到很 sien 的事情...我很乖的把新買的 laptop declare 了 (law 規定要 declare > NZ$700 的item)...才知道原來 NZ 政府要抽 GST?! 天吶...12.5% 呢！鬱悶 ==ll ＄122就這樣飛走了...

NZ food regulation is famous...I waited for nearly 45mins to get everything done. They really open up and unpack everything for you, and you have to repack again...so waste of time.

Anyway...now I have to wait for my bus, which is still 4 more hours away = =...tired...

Sunday 17/8, 9pm, arriving in Dunedin. I slept most of my way. Oh man...it's freezing. The moment I stepped outside the ChCh airport, the moment I stepped out from the bus, on my way back to home on Pinehill, stepping into 19 Dover St, stepping on the floor, into my room, on my bed...everything's like ice~~~

Besides the cold weather, I have cold too. Sore throat and productive cough. Last night started to have red eyes too. Pharyngoconjunctivitis? Might have some component of Hay Fever as well. Itchy throat and itchy eyes. This has been a longterm problem for me since living in NZ. Even though it's a clean country...something in the air definitely doesn't agree with me.

呵呵...這就是我抵抗寒冷的裝備. 其實有點 overdone ><...可是在適應之前就這樣吧..

希望明天天氣會更好 ~~

星期三 (13/8), Jason, Siaw Wee, Kee Ting all applied an one-day leave to accompany me...so touching~~

First stop --> Lunch. 去了Crown Plaza 的一家港式餐廳，叫了桶仔飯，還有許多Dim Sum
 

Second stop --> the first and so far the only 收費站 (Toll station)...聽說現在去State Lib 讀書超近的，回想以前整群同學擠在限有的汽車裡，一邊高歌舒緩壓力. 收費RM 1.50.

Third stop --> Kuching Chung Hua Middle School No. 1 (古晉中華第一中學)...裡面記載著我人生中最活躍的高中時期 （初中是讀書虫）

大禮堂有裝修了...運動場好像荒廢了? 張銀蓮老師還在，萱雅現在是校長助理。此外還見了楊月玲輔導主任，以及慶燕教務主任。

Fourth stop --> the Spring. A newly opened "Hypermarket"...

Sixth stop --> 累了...去吃冰 ^^

Seventh stop --> Kuching Festival

今年有超過80攤的食物，依舊有Garden Show...愛欣和涇嘉也來 join, increasing the number of our group to 6ppl

不過天氣真的是夠熱的...一直猛灌水 = =

Last stop (8th) --> 宵夜啦. Forgot abt the name of the shop...but anyway just cheese and drinks that kind of stuff. 理慶 (以前學長團交通組的Partner) 也來join...7ppl altogether, ending the day beautifully.

Thank you all my friends, for taking the time off to teman me. It's been a long long time...take care till we meet again  ^^

今晚我父母開放家裡，邀請了教會許許多多的人來參加 thanksgiving gathering，其中超過一半都不認得了。這個是好事，代表教會有成長喔。

恰好我們家的也是四個兄弟姊妹，年齡分佈也很接近，所以自然而然的成了一夥 =)
